Quaid Solar Park to be set up in Cholistan

Nowadays Pakistan is facing serious Energy  Crises. Economic condition of country is getting worse day by day. Although  Pakistan is a agricultural country but  industries including Steel Mills,Textile, Cement and others are playing important in role in country's GDP. Investor are leaving the country because they can't bear  loss and shifting  to Bangladesh. In 2013 till now, Foreign investor transferred about their 1.5 Arab Dollar  from Pakistan.
To control the above situation and stabilize the  economy,New Nawaz government is taking initiatives and decided to visit china as soon as possible after taking control. In his China visit,he offered the Chinese investors  to invest in Pakistan with advantages and the safe security as well. During this visit, A MOU was singed between Punjab government and Chinese company to built a Solar Park in Cholistan,Punjab Pakistan having capacity 1,000 Megawatt. Chief minister Punjab also said that''we should on renewable energy sources which will help Pakistan for long time''

The Punjab government is going to lay a foundation stone of Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park on 7,500 acres in Cholistan within a couple of days for the facility of local and foreign investors whereas the team of Chinese engineers is arriving Pakistan soon for starting work on Nandipur Power Project. He said the country and the nation would get rid of energy crisis by generating energy through biomass, biogas, solar, coal, hydle and bagasse.

About Park:

• Quaid solar park  will consist of 75,000 acre 
• Park having capacity of 1,000 Megawatt
• Will be complete in a year 
• Land will be given on lease to Chinese company,on low rates as one dollar per acre
• Produce the jobs 
• Solar Panels will  manufacture  in Faisalabad,Punjab,Pakistan
